We are aware of the revised Advisory Guideline on the PDPA for NRIC and other National Identification Numbers that the Personal Data Protection Commission(PDPC) issued on 31 August 2018, and are in the midst of reviewing our platform and policies to adhere to these guidelines.
We seek your kind understanding that we will continue with the collection of NRIC Numbers/Driving Licence/Foreign Identification Numbers, while we enhance our platform. We will be implementing the consent for collection of NRIC details in time to come. We expect to effect these changes within the next 6 months.
We assure you that we will undertake proper safeguarding measures to protect your personal data(including NRIC numbers) under our care.
We collect only the personal data that we need for verification purposes and for providing services to our customers. This is important as identity correlates to driving experience. We must be able to identify that this person has a licence, is the right person holding onto the licence, or have sufficient experience. It is our responsibility to verify that the account holder has relevant experience to drive or it is a safety hazard, and to prevent fraud cases.
With this regard, we do not accept photocopied, cropped, edited or blurred photos.
The data collected is needed to:

3) Search for and manage your account
4) Support services
5) Contact customer regarding their account
6) Follow up with customers
7) Notify customers about promotions
9) Giving credits
